Sunday’s comin…..

Wow what a day! Started at the church that meets in a red cross building in town where there was some of the usual exuberant African praise
followed by loads and loads of testimony as to what God has done in people’s lives. Both Richard and I had the opportunity to share messages with the church which were both received very well and a number of people responded to the challenges given. After a quick break we took an hours journey up to a small fellowship in a place called Koch where we have bought some land to plant a church.

We had the amazing privilege of sharing a meal with a former witch doctor who has now become a Christian and is part of the church. His wife was the first convert to Christianity in that particular village and the reason behind the church plant. We heard some amazing stories of this particuar man’s struggles with his former life. Totally inspiring! And more dirty drinking water … man – it’s depressing.
Can’t wait for tomorrow though, as we will be starting the construction of the climbing frame at school. Check back for pictures and post….
